IFTA GmbH receives ISO 27001 certification – a milestone for information security
IFTA GmbH has successfully completed ISO 27001 certification – a significant step towards strengthening information security within the company. With the professional support of SYNGENITY GmbH, the project was implemented in a targeted and efficient manner. The ISO 27001 certification confirms that IFTA has introduced a systematic and effective information security management system (ISMS) that meets international requirements.
ISO 27001 is the globally recognized standard for information security management. It specifies requirements for the introduction, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of an ISMS. The aim is to protect confidential information, minimize risks and ensure the integrity and availability of data. For companies like IFTA that operate in a technology-driven environment, solid protection of sensitive information is essential – both in terms of regulatory requirements and to maintain the trust of customers and partners.
The ISO 27001 certification project was carried out in close cooperation between IFTA and SYNGENITY’s consulting team. From the initial gap analysis to the definition of security objectives and measures through to audit preparation, all steps were planned and implemented in a structured manner. The collaboration was characterized by openness, mutual trust and a clear focus on achieving the objectives. The constructive and solution-oriented communication between the project participants deserves special mention.
